As a new real estate agent, you’re probably overwhelmed with people coming at you saying “you need this” or “you need that”. Too much right?? There are really only a few things you need to get you headed in the right direction.
Business cards. You want people to know who you are right? Having some of these bad boys on you at all times allows you to start getting your name out there. The good news is, excellent business cards aren’t expensive. You will want to make sure they are good quality business cards and they have the necessary information on them (with no typos for goodness sake).
A website. This is where you can brand yourself. The first rule of Real Estate is to talk about it! A good website can bring in leads, be a good source of information and be a tool that potential clients can use. Make it useful! Make it creative! Make it stand out from other realtors. When you talk about yourself be sure to speak in a relatable way. Your potential clients want to know that you’re more than just another agent; they want to make a connection with you. This one is super important, make sure your branding is consistent. DON’T have a bunch of different fonts, flashy things, etc that cheapen the look.
Lead Generation. You need to start getting people to contact you right? Lead generation doesn’t have to be as scary as some people make it sound. It’s all about finding ways to bring people to you. Interested in selling your home? I’m your agent! Want to buy? Call me! Use squeeze pages to peak someone’s interest enough for them to give you their info and BAM! You have a lead and a potential client. But wait, what the heck is a squeeze page? It’s a single page with no navigation and a form they can fill out to get more information. Just think…..you’re squeezing information out of someone.
