Savannah is full of art galleries, museums and other art attractions. If you love different forms of art including historic home tours, new and trendy artists and even performance art, Savannah may be the right city for you. SCAD Museum of Art

A premier art museum with incredible educational programs, the SCAD Museum of Art is certainly one of the best attractions in the city. New exhibits come out just about every quarter and the museum provides a look at many top artists in the area. Students at SCAD are challenged in many different disciplines and they are often pushed to create incredible works of art.

The permanent collection of the museum features African American Art, British Art, American Art, Photography and so much more. The museum provides 20 exhibitions throughout the year and plenty of special events.

Muse Arts Warehouse

A non-profit organization with plenty to offer the Savannah community, Muse Arts Warehouse features works from individual artists throughout the area. The environment has been created to encourage collaboration throughout the community, even with artists and non-artists.

The venue is known for holding excellent musical and theatrical performances. It’s used by many area organizations to show off their work and the acoustics are incredible. The venue features brick walls with an arched wooden ceiling, two dressing rooms, a green room and plenty of wall space for hanging art.

Sulfur Studios

This specific building provides 14 artist studios, a gallery space, meeting rooms and a lobby. It’s one of the top area venues for up-and-coming artists and helps to attract talent to the city. Community art events are often held here including, workshops, open studio nights and lectures. The space is known as one of the hubs for the art community in Savannah.

A.T. Hun Art Gallery

A gallery providing a look at local and international artists, A.T. Hun is found in the historic City Market of Savannah. Often, the artists are in the gallery and willing to speak about their work. Plenty of art is for sale at the gallery with a number of very unique choices.

Reynolds Square Fine Art Gallery

Those looking for fine art will find plenty to enjoy at the Reynolds Square Gallery. This gallery provides works of art from plenty of great choices, such as Dicky Stone, Susie Chisholm, Betsy Cain, Mark Uzmann and many more. It’s found at the corner of Abercorn and Congress with hours running from 10:30am to 5pm, Monday through Saturday.

Savannah Art Walk
