My wife and I moved to Austin in 1992. At that time my wife was a teacher (still is) and I was in sales so we really could have relocated anywhere in the US, but after serious thought and planning, we decided on Austin. Visiting Austin a few times prior to our move we found a "vibe" around Austin back then. There was a certain energy that we hadn't felt back east so the potential adventure in Austin was rather enticing. That vibe grew on us. My wife went into special education at work, I learned to play guitar, and that new found energy blessed us with two daughters. Each and every year was better than the prior so that vibe kept in tune with our lifestyle, our family growth, and our comfort. As our family grew the need for a stable lifestyle and comfortable housing grew paramount. After our third year in Austin, we decided to purchase and build our very first home. We found that experience to be vibrant and exciting. It truly was a fun time watching a home be built, walking around the construction site, asking questions as to the whats and whys. The best part was seeing the glow in my wife's eyes as I would explain what I had learned at the construction site that day. It made her giggle when I would tell my very young daughters what I learned that day. I don't think the kids understood what I was talking about, but they seemed interested as they cooed and chuckled. We really enjoyed that process so much I took a real fancy to the building process and Real Estate in general, I guess so much that I quit my job at the radio station and jumped wholeheartedly into the business of helping families find or sell their first, third, or ninth home; 4th best thing I've ever done. Since that beginning, my passion has helped over 1200 families successfully purchase or sell a home. With the many transactions I have seen, which includes a couple incredibly crazy ones, I have taken that experience to heart and have learned how a transaction, crazy or not, should work to my client's benefit. That knowledge has comfortably and successfully resulted in smooth closings and happy home owners or sellers. I give it all, straight from the heart, and I would love to share my experience to successfully help you and your family find a home that fits your needs or sell a home profitably.
